The results of the study indicate that individuals working in educational centers near agricultural farms perceive a higher severity and magnitude of risk due to pesticide use. This suggests that school personnel are concerned about the health risks that pesticides may pose.
In conclusion, people who do not have a direct working relationship with banana plantations where pesticides are used are also affected by these chemicals and should be considered relevant stakeholders in discussions about pesticide use. Furthermore, it is suggested that their perceptions and concerns should be considered in the development of regulations and policies to reduce pesticide-related risks.
