VIRTUAL SCHOOL: Online courses for participants from all over Latin America
The Virtual School aims to provide a platform for online courses for participants from Latin America who wish to improve their skills in topics related to scientific research, public health and the environment. The Virtual School features internationally recognized professors who have designed distance learning courses in Spanish specifically for professionals in Latin America.
The online courses are designed for individuals working in Latin American countries in fields such as medicine, science, public policy, nursing, public health, graduate education, master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral students, leaders of grassroots community health organizations, and other professionals involved in areas related to improving the health of the populations of their countries. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the Universidad Nacional of Costa Rica. Courses are funded by the program and are free to students who secure a spot.
